Spring 1973 Bob Masse doing the run with his Black 31 Ford 5 window coupe equiped with a  Todco race built 302 DZ motor. In this picture he is crossing the finishing line at Hymus. This strip would become the famous Friday Night racing place that would gather all the street racers in Montreal.

This Road Runner  was doing it's test run in July 1976 on a Friday afternoon getting ready to run against a 69 Mustang 428 with a blower. The race was scheduled for 10:pm that evening in front of the American Hotel for $300.When the Runner hit top of the 2nd Gear it was all over for the Mustang. This modest Road Runner only had a 440 with 4 grape fruits 4spd gear box Dana 60 4.56 and was shifting at 8000 RPM. Now you know why the front wheels lifted in 2 nd gear.
